Technical Lead / Head of Engineering – AI & Software Platforms

Davidson Tech Recruitment have been mandated to recruit a Technical Lead / Head of Engineering for their client in Dubai. We are looking for a highly experienced technology leader with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in software engineering, technical architecture, cloud infrastructure and engineering delivery, together with strong exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies. The successful candidate will take overall ownership of technical architecture, software development, engineering execution, infrastructure planning and the successful delivery of scalable technology solutions. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure, system architecture, cloud deployment, infrastructure dimensioning, capacity planning, infrastructure costing, scalability, security and production environments. Strong hands-on coding experience is essential, together with the ability to review code, make architectural decisions, resolve complex engineering challenges and guide teams of software developers, AI engineers and DevOps professionals. Experience overseeing AI/ML development, Generative AI integration, LLM-based applications and AI-powered enterprise platforms would be highly advantageous. The position requires a commercially aware technical leader who can engage directly with customers, understand complex technical requirements, develop solution architectures, estimate infrastructure and development costs and ensure successful project delivery. Candidates must demonstrate previous responsibility for leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, managing technical delivery and implementing reliable, scalable production systems. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence or a related engineering discipline is required. Davidson will shortlist candidates who can demonstrate substantial personal technical contributions, successful leadership of engineering teams and proven delivery of complex software or AI platforms.

Salary : Aed 45,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
