Senior Data Engineer – Saudi Arabia (Financial Services)

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Senior Data Engineer for their client in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. In this role, you will design robust, scalable data platforms to support analytics, AI initiatives, and regulatory reporting for a rapidly growing financial services group. Domain / Sub-domain: Banking, payments, risk analytics, data platforms. You will build batch and streaming ETL pipelines using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar technologies. Expertise in SQL, Python or Scala, and experience with data lake/lakehouse architectures are essential. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required, including services such as S3/ADLS, Glue/Data Factory, and Redshift/Synapse/BigQuery. You will implement data governance, lineage, and data quality frameworks, including the use of cataloging tools. Experience with security and compliance standards (e.g., PDPL, PCI-DSS) will be highly beneficial. You will mentor junior engineers and work closely with data scientists and BI teams to ensure high-quality data delivery across the organization. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Salary: AED 29,750 – 41,000 per month + benefits (The salary mentioned is indicative. The final offer will be determined by the client after the interview process.)
