Senior Data Engineer – AI & Enterprise Data Platforms

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Senior Data Engineer for an organisation in Abu Dhabi investing in enterprise Artificial Intelligence and advanced data platforms. The successful candidate will build the data infrastructure that enables AI applications, machine learning models, management analytics and intelligent automation to operate on reliable, secure and accessible enterprise information. Candidates must have strong practical experience with Python, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, data lakes, data modelling, orchestration frameworks and cloud-based data engineering. Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or comparable technologies would be highly desirable. The role will involve integrating data from CRMs, ERPs, operational databases, APIs, documents and external sources; implementing data quality controls; creating structured and unstructured data pipelines; and supporting RAG applications, embeddings, vector databases and AI-ready enterprise knowledge platforms. Candidates should understand data governance, access controls, security, pipeline monitoring, scalability and cloud cost optimisation. Experience preparing enterprise data for Generative AI, AI agents and machine learning systems will be particularly valuable. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical discipline is required. Davidson will shortlist candidates with proven ownership of production data pipelines and demonstrable experience supporting enterprise analytics, AI or machine learning applications.

Salary : Aed 38,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
