Senior AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Senior AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is an advanced Artificial Intelligence organization developing production-grade AI solutions for complex enterprise and industry applications. We are looking for AI/ML Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and deep technical expertise in Computer Vision, image processing, Deep Learning, Vision Language Models (VLMs), and production Machine Learning systems. The Senior AI/ML Engineer will build sophisticated visual intelligence capabilities capable of operating reliably beyond the experimental environment. Work with large-scale image, video and multimodal datasets to develop solutions covering object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, document intelligence, text extraction and other specialized Computer Vision applications. Take responsibility for the complete modelling lifecycle including dataset preparation, augmentation, model selection, training, fine-tuning, evaluation and deployment. Experiment with Deep Learning architectures and Vision Language Models and establish rigorous benchmarking approaches to determine whether improvements translate into meaningful production performance. Optimize inference workloads to achieve required latency, throughput and infrastructure cost targets and collaborate with MLOps and Software Engineering teams to expose trained models through scalable production services. Identify data quality issues and model failure patterns and implement systematic improvements to training and validation pipelines. Contribute to architectural decisions around multimodal AI and emerging foundation models and evaluate whether new research developments can provide practical value within existing products. Provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers, participate in code and design reviews and help strengthen engineering practices across the Computer Vision function.

Salary : AED 35,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made post completion of interviews).
