Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI, Zoho Integration & Business Automation - Finance, Dubai)

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Senior AI Engineer for their client in Dubai.A  European financial services AI native startup. We are looking for an AI Engineer with substantial experience working within the Zoho ecosystem, particularly developing AI powered applications, integrations and intelligent workflow automation using Zoho's existing business systems. This is a highly practical engineering position for someone who can independently identify business inefficiencies, understand operational requirements and personally design, code, integrate and deploy production ready AI solutions. Candidates must have strong experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Creator, Zoho Flow, Deluge scripting, Zoho APIs, webhooks and third-party system integrations, with particular emphasis on connecting Generative AI and intelligent automation to Zoho applications. Strong practical knowledge of Python, OpenAI, Claude and other Large Language Models, AI agents, agentic workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), document intelligence, API development, databases and workflow automation is highly desirable. The successful candidate will work directly with the company's CEO and management team to develop AI-powered solutions supporting loan and transaction workflows, borrower documentation, financial-data extraction, CRM automation, accounting and reporting processes, document classification, management dashboards, internal knowledge systems and operational decision making. Candidates should be capable of building complete solutions from initial requirements through architecture, coding, Zoho integration, testing, deployment and continuous improvement, with particular attention to reliability, accuracy, security and user experience. Previous experience implementing AI solutions within financial services, lending, accounting or other commercially driven organisations would be a significant advantage. The client requires a technically accomplished engineer who personally builds and delivers working solutions. Candidates must demonstrate substantial hands on experience with Zoho integrations and provide examples of AI applications, automations or business systems they have personally developed, clearly explaining the Zoho products involved, technologies used, individual coding contribution and measurable operational improvements achieved. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology or a related technical discipline is preferred, with demonstrable engineering capability and successful project delivery being particularly important. Excellent spoken and written English, professional communication skills, a polished professional presentation and the ability to collaborate closely with senior management are essential. This is a full-time, office-based position in Dubai .

Salary: Aed 40,000 per month plus benefits (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative. The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
