Senior AI Engineer - Financial Services

Davidson Tech Recruitment have been mandated to recruit a Senior AI Engineer for their client in Dubai, a financial services company.We are looking for highly hands-on AI Engineers who personally design, code, integrate and deploy production-ready AI applications and who are actively working with the latest generation of Generative AI technologies. Candidates must have strong practical experience with LLMs including OpenAI, Claude and other leading models, Python, APIs, AI agents and agentic workflows, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, document intelligence, workflow automation and structured/unstructured data processing. Candidates should also have the full-stack capability to independently build functional internal dashboards, platforms and business applications and integrate these with CRMs, databases, existing enterprise systems and third-party APIs. The successful candidates will work directly with senior management to identify business problems and take solutions from concept and architecture through development, integration, deployment and continuous improvement. Projects will include AI-assisted underwriting and credit assessment, automated borrower and transaction document analysis, extraction and interpretation of financial statements, balance-sheet and P&L analysis, management dashboards, automated reporting, loan workflow automation, CRM integrations, internal RAG/knowledge platforms and AI agents supporting operational teams. A strong understanding of finance, accounting, lending, credit, banking, FinTech or financial analysis is mandatory, and candidates must be comfortable interpreting balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash-flow information, financial ratios and other financial data. We are not looking for traditional Data Scientists, purely academic Machine Learning profiles, AI consultants or managers who primarily supervise technical teams – we are specifically looking for builders who personally create and deploy AI-powered solutions. Previous hands-on software engineering, coding, web or application development experience prior to the emergence of modern LLM coding tools would be a significant advantage. Candidates should be highly self-directed, commercially minded and passionate about AI, continuously experimenting with new models, frameworks and development tools and capable of translating loosely defined commercial problems into high-quality technical solutions. A university degree demonstrating strong analytical and quantitative capability is required. Candidates must provide hyperlinks to multiple AI or software projects they have personally built, together with a brief explanation of the problem solved, technologies used and their individual contribution. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, UAE.

Salary : Aed 40,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
