Lead Generative AI Engineer – LLMs, RAG & AI Agents

Davidson Tech Recruitment are seeking a Lead Generative AI Engineer for a technology organisation in Dubai developing advanced AI-powered enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and building production-ready Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, intelligent AI agents and multi-step agentic workflows. Strong practical experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, open-source LLMs, Python, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or comparable frameworks is required. Candidates should have experience designing RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, reranking, retrieval evaluation and grounded response generation. The role will involve developing enterprise knowledge assistants, document intelligence systems, automated business workflows, AI-powered decision-support tools and applications integrating with CRMs, databases and enterprise APIs. Candidates must understand prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling, tool integration, model evaluation, hallucination mitigation, latency optimisation, security and production monitoring. Strong software engineering and cloud deployment experience is essential, together with the ability to independently take AI solutions from proof of concept through production implementation. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering or a related quantitative discipline is required. Davidson will shortlist engineers who can demonstrate multiple substantial Generative AI applications they have personally developed, including at least one production deployment with clear evidence of architecture, integration and performance evaluation.

Salary : Aed 50,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
