Industrial AI & Computer Vision Engineer

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit an Industrial AI & Computer Vision Engineer - Smart Manufacturing.This role starts on the factory floor rather than with a chatbot. Davidson Tech Recruitment is looking for an Industrial AI & Computer Vision Engineer for an organisation using AI to improve manufacturing performance, equipment reliability and product quality. Potential assignments include machine-vision inspection, automated defect detection, predictive equipment maintenance, production optimisation, sensor-data analysis, engineering copilots, technical knowledge systems, maintenance automation and intelligent planning. Candidates should have previously worked with manufacturing plants, industrial companies, automation businesses or Industry 4.0 environments and understand the realities of deploying software around physical operations. Experience involving cameras, industrial imagery, IoT devices, telemetry, MES, ERP, SCADA, maintenance systems or time-series equipment data will be particularly relevant. Depending on previous projects, technical expertise may span Python, computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, LLMs, multimodal models, RAG, edge/cloud deployment, APIs and industrial data integration. Suitable academic backgrounds include Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering and AI. Candidates should come to Davidson prepared to demonstrate what they have actually built—preferably a system that detected a defect, predicted a failure, improved production, automated engineering work or delivered another measurable industrial result.

Salary : Aed 42,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
