DevSecOps Engineer – UAE (Digital Banking)

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a DevSecOps Engineer for their client in the United Arab Emirates. We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in integrating security into modern software delivery practices. Domain / Sub-domain: DevOps, application security, secure SDLC. You will embed security controls across CI/CD pipelines for large-scale digital banking platforms and mobile applications. Responsibilities include implementing automated SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security scanning tools within the delivery workflow. Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps is essential. You must also have strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service mesh technologies. You will work closely with development and security teams to define and enforce security baselines and engineering standards. Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, PCI-DSS, and regional compliance requirements is mandatory. Experience with secrets management (Vault, KMS) and policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel) is preferred. Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash or Groovy, along with a shift-left security mindset, are critical for success in this role.

Salary: AED 24,250 – 32,500 per month + benefits (The salary mentioned is indicative. The final offer will be determined by the client after the interview process.)
