Data Scientist – Saudi Arabia (Retail & E-commerce)

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Data Scientist for their client in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Data Scientist with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In this role, you will build predictive and prescriptive models to optimize pricing, promotions, assortment, and customer retention for a leading omni-channel retailer. Domain / Sub-domain: Retail, e-commerce, marketing analytics, supply chain analytics. Key responsibilities include experimentation design, churn prediction, recommendation systems, and demand forecasting. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Jupyter notebooks, and libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and Prophet is required. Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) is mandatory. You will collaborate with data engineering teams to define data models and enhance data quality. A solid foundation in statistics, A/B testing, and causal inference is expected. Experience working with both Arabic and English datasets will be an advantage. A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field is required. Experience in retail or FMCG environments is preferred.

Salary: AED 27,750 – 36,500 per month + benefits (The salary mentioned is indicative. The final offer will be determined by the client after the interview process.)
