Chief Technology Officer

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Chief Technology Officer for their client in Dubai, UAE. This is a hands-on executive technology leadership position requiring an accomplished CTO capable of operating simultaneously at strategic, architectural, engineering, and commercial levels. The successful candidate will take executive responsibility for shaping the organization's long-term technology direction while ensuring that its platforms, engineering capabilities and infrastructure can support sustained international growth. Lead the evolution of the technology architecture with particular attention to scalability, system performance, reliability, cybersecurity and the removal of technical debt. Provide leadership across Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, Data, Information Security and Artificial Intelligence while creating clear accountability for engineering quality and delivery. Establish a technology roadmap that balances product innovation with platform stability and ensures investment decisions are aligned with customer requirements and commercial priorities. Work in close partnership with the CEO, Product leadership and other executives to evaluate new products, markets and technology opportunities from both technical and financial perspectives. Strengthen engineering governance covering architecture, development standards, testing, release management, observability, resilience and disaster recovery. Identify practical opportunities to embed Artificial Intelligence and automation within both customer-facing products and internal engineering processes. Take ownership of engineering budgets, cloud and infrastructure expenditure, strategic technology suppliers and technical workforce planning while developing senior engineering leaders and succession capability. Represent Technology at executive and Board level and provide clear visibility over platform performance, technology risks, major investments and delivery against the organization's strategic roadmap.

Salary : Aed 60,000 per month plus family benefits (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made post completion of interviews).
