Business Intelligence Engineer – UAE

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Business Intelligence Engineer for their client in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for designing analytics models and dashboards that enable data-driven decisions across commercial and operations teams. Domain / Sub-domain: BI, reporting, self-service analytics. You will build semantic layers, data models, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse is mandatory. You will work closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and standardized reporting. Experience with DAX, LookML, or equivalent modeling languages is required. Your responsibilities will also include performance optimization, implementing analytics governance, and training business users. Exposure to Python/R for advanced analytics and automation is preferred. Excellent communication skills and strong requirements-gathering abilities are essential.

Salary: AED 20,750 – 28,500 per month + benefits (The salary mentioned is indicative. The final offer will be determined by the client after the interview process.)
