Backend Engineer (Java / Spring) – UAE

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit a Backend Engineer (Java / Spring) for their client in the United Arab Emirates. We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Java / Spring) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in designing and building backend services. Domain / Sub-domain: Microservices, APIs, enterprise integration. You will develop robust and scalable microservices that power key digital channels for a leading regional enterprise. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures is mandatory. You will design high-performing services, integrate with third-party platforms, and implement performance optimization strategies. Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, as well as API gateways, is required. You will work with relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL, along with caching layers like Redis. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential for seamless deployment and operations. A strong focus on clean code, unit/integration testing, and established design patterns is expected. Experience in banking, telecom, or large-scale B2C platforms will be highly valued.

Salary: AED 22,750 – 31,000 per month + benefits (The salary mentioned is indicative. The final offer will be determined by the client after the interview process.)
