AI Product Engineer

Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit an Ai Product Engineer - Insurance, Claims & Underwriting.Imagine an insurance claim arriving with forms, photographs, policy documents, correspondence and supporting evidence. The objective of this role is to build AI capable of understanding that information, retrieving the relevant policy provisions, assisting the claims team and automating as much of the surrounding workflow as safely possible. Davidson Tech Recruitment is recruiting an AI Product Engineer for an insurance business investing significantly in intelligent underwriting, claims and policy operations. The remit may extend across claims triage, underwriting assistance, policy-document intelligence, fraud indicators, broker servicing, customer communications and AI agents for repetitive insurance processes. This requires genuine insurance knowledge: policy wording, premiums, coverage, exclusions, claims, underwriting and risk should be familiar concepts rather than terminology learned during onboarding. The technical environment will involve LLMs, Python, RAG, vector search, document extraction, structured outputs, function/tool calling, APIs, databases and agentic workflows. Experience connecting AI into policy administration, claims, CRM or other insurance platforms would be particularly valuable. Candidates should hold a strong degree in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Actuarial Science or a related field. Shortlisting will require tangible evidence of insurance-specific AI or software products personally developed by the candidate; simply being employed by an insurer will not satisfy the requirement.

Salary : Aed 40,000 per month plus benefits  (The salary mentioned in the advert is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
