Davidson Tech Recruitment has been mandated to recruit an AI Engineer - Energy Assets & Predictive Operations.The challenge here is not simply generating text—it is helping a major asset-intensive business predict, optimise and operate better. Davidson Tech Recruitment is recruiting an AI Engineer with an Energy, Oil & Gas or Utilities background to develop intelligent applications around physical assets and engineering operations. Potential work includes predictive maintenance, equipment health, failure prediction, production optimisation, energy-demand forecasting, engineering-document intelligence, inspection analytics, field-service assistance and AI copilots capable of searching extensive engineering and operational knowledge. Candidates may come from oil & gas operators, utilities, power companies, renewable-energy businesses, industrial technology companies or specialist energy software providers. Familiarity with sensor/IoT data, SCADA, historians, maintenance systems, GIS, engineering documentation or asset-management environments would be valuable. Depending on the project portfolio, expertise could include Python, machine learning, time-series modelling, LLMs, RAG, computer vision, agents and industrial system integration. Relevant qualifications include Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, AI and Software Engineering.
